Foreign Mining Substation
Powers up to 5000 kVA.
Transformers used in mining.
Single or three phase, self-cooled, immersed in mineral oil, vegetable or silicone FR3.
Substation designed for rugged work, operating altitude up to 5,500 meters.
For installation on floor and mobile (drag).
Components:
- Electrical Board (control, command and force), and cell transformer AT (Switch disconnectors).
Outlets and switch-load M.T.
-plates and connecting rods for quick couplings output circuit outside.
Circuit-board output.
-limiters transients (lightning) protection circuitry.
This type of substations of are in current operation in Escondida mining and its function is to feed the water extraction pumps found at the bottom of the open pit deposit.
